ToNY Research Library

The full scope of the ToNY Research Library is not yet defined, except that its postings should be consistent with the 1900-1950 period of American musical culture that is ToNY's stated purpose to preserve. Information about the music, the recording sessions, the artists and the general impact of this music on cultures around the world is all welcome. We are particularly interested in information which adds to the body of knowledge already existing about this subject. Corrections and additions to discographical data, artist interviews that provide further insight or perspective, as well as summaries and profiles that add to our appreciation of the music of this period are all welcome. And, of course, the obits which celebrate the joyous lives of people who were important in 1900-1950 music are also posted here.
